Very professional and caring.  I started with Luke with one-on-one sessions a couple of months before major abdominal surgery so I could be in better shape going into surgery.  We discussed what the needs were and got started.  He helped my body through two surgeries and now a year later I am in even better shape than when I started!

This is by far the best gym in North Scottsdale. Luke the owner is also my trainer. He is knowledgeable and knows how to keep me motivated and accountable. We do a lot of laughing along the way to keep my 72 year old body upright and the core strong. He is the best thing that has happened to me in the past couple of years. I actually look forward to our workouts. Well worth the money.  If you are looking for a small gym with personal attention this is for you.  5 star rating!

SEVEN BENEFITS OF PERSONAL TRAINING

Motivation

Motivation is often difficult to maintain when you exercise on your own. Regular sessions with a personal trainer enhance your motivation to continue with a workout regimen. Even if you don’t use a personal trainer for every session, knowing that you’ll meet with your trainer soon will motivate you during workouts.

You also get the satisfaction of showing your trainer the improvement you’ve made as your exercise program proceeds.

Accountability

A common problem is lack of commitment to a regular exercise program. When you exercise on your own, it is easier to skip a session here and there or fall off the wagon completely since there’s no one to hold you accountable for you actions.

When you work with a trainer, he keeps you accountable, making it more likely that you’ll stick with your training program.

Personal Program Design

A personal trainer creates a specific workout plan just for you based the goals you have set. The personalized plan typically gives you better results than a general workout plan.

Because he knows your physical condition and medical background, he is able to make accommodations to the program to fit your needs.

Proper Technique

A professional trainer teaches you the proper way to perform each exercise movement in your routine. He will demonstrate the movement and watch you perform it and will correct any issues with your posture or technique.

Learning how to perform exercises properly reduces your risk of injury. You also will be able to do the exercises on your own at home or at the gym after getting professional fitness instruction.

Goal Setting

A personal trainer will take into account your fitness level and help you define your fitness goals.

While you may have some idea of the goals you want to set, a professional is able to help you break them down into smaller goals that are specific and realistic.

Consistancy

Trainers are educated on the most effective ways to help you get to your fitness goals. They will work with you to develop a routine that is realistic for you.

They will work with you to develop an exercise routine that helps you achieve your personal goals.

Nutritional Guidance

It’s the job of the trainer to stay on top of health trends and continue their education in order to provide you with the safest and most accurate information.

Trainers are able to use their education, knowledge and experience to provide you with tips and tricks to help you develop a healthier lifestyle.
