We all have busy lives. We all get run down. We all keep piling more things on our plate.

Do you feel like this sometimes?

This is a good friend of mine and this picture was taken about a month ago.

He is like me… Why take extra trips when you can get it done all at once?

However, when we look at our daily lives, the stress, our work, our lack of sleep

Our body can feel like this picture. Weighted down and the world caving in!

However, it doesn’t have to be like this.

I toyed around with meditation when I was an athlete and found it very useful.

Of course, once I had to start focusing on family, business and my future, I stopped taking the time to meditate.

My wife swears by it and makes sure to do it every morning. She did it while being pregnant with our first born, Patrick and it not only kept her calm but he has turned out to be a great kid.

Coincidence? Maybe, but I think a calm and happy mother sets the tone while the child is in the womb.

And even though he is chasing our cat around with a plastic stick, he has his calm moments! :)

I particularly like this guided meditation. You can find them on youtube pretty easily.
